Study Title: Sexual Attitudes Survey
Study Purpose and Rationale
The purpose of this study is to gain better insight into people attitudes toward and experiences with a variety of sexual activities.
To be eligible to participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Participation Procedures and Duration
Should you choose to participate, you will be directed to a survey that will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. During this time, you will be asked various questions pertaining to your sexual attitudes, personality, and sexual history.
Data Confidentiality or Anonymity
All data will be collected anonymously. You will not be asked to provide personally identifying information and we will not collect IP addresses or any other information that could potentially be used to identify you.
Storage of Data All data collected through this study will be stored indefinitely on a secure database or secure devices that will only be accessible by the principal and co-investigators of this research. The final data (which are anonymous and cannot be traced back to specific individuals) will be held indefinitely in order to allow for future review and re-analysis.
In accordance with contemporary journal publication standards, however, final data may eventually be deposited in a public repository.
You may benefit from your participation by contributing to general scientific knowledge as well as by reflecting on various elements of your own relationship.
Compensation is not provided for participation in this study.
Risks or Discomforts The only anticipated risk from participating in this study is that you may not feel comfortable answering some of the questions. You may choose not to answer any question that makes you uncomfortable and you may quit the study at any time.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and you are free to withdraw your permission at any time for any reason, or choose not to answer any question without penalty or prejudice from the investigators. Please feel free to ask any questions of the investigator before signing this form and at any time during the study.
